Fetch My Ride: Optimizing Valet Parking Operations

The Challenge
Valet parking companies were struggling to manage operations across multiple sites. Manual cash handling created accountability risks, supervisors lacked visibility into team performance, and dispatch coordination was inefficient. At the same time, customers faced long waits, payment friction, and low trust in service quality.
The solution aimed to digitize the valet experience end-to-end, building a system that worked reliably in real-world conditions, including spotty internet and high vehicle turnover, while also supporting business scalability.
Our Approach
We initiated this entrepreneurial project and led the product from idea to exit, managing the full product lifecycle:
We conducted early validation workshops with valet operators and customers to identify friction points in dispatching, payment, and service transparency.
We defined the MVP scope and roadmap based on operational workflows and user needs, splitting the solution into three core apps: mobile for customers, tablet for valets, and web-based for company management.
We collaborated with a development agency to build the solutions and integrate real-time payment and receipt systems. We architected the backend infrastructure and built the API layer, integrating with payment gateways and thermal printers for real-time receipts.
We provided support and infrastructure maintenance post-launch, with a partnership model that included equity, iteration hours, and CTO onboarding. We piloted the product in five locations across Lebanon to test reliability, refine the UX, and capture operator feedback.
The Outcome
The MVP was launched successfully and received positive feedback from both operators and customers. However, the COVID-19 pandemic and Lebanon's economic crisis disrupted the market and paused further expansion for both the valet company and customer adoption in Lebanon.
We transitioned to an exit strategy and successfully sold the product to a valet parking company in Qatar, where it was integrated into their daily operations.
